Problems - Vic
We did have some minor issues attemping to get the first draft onto youtube. We thought it had gone onto youtube however we hadnt set our settings to 'open to public' instead it was set to 'privite'. We only became aware of this when our teacher attempted to veiw it however he could not find it. The video has now been altered to public veiwing.

Our day of filming - Vic
Our day of filming on Sunday was a total sucess. We did have some concerns the day before concerning the weather conditions, the weather was pretty good, it was fairly bright so therefore we gott he lighting correct for the footage. A slight downfall was that it was a bit chilly however we had coats on hand for the girls who wernt really wearing much.
A further concern was that the actress's would turn up ok, as Hannah was going out the night before and daisy was unwell. However Hannah was the firt to arrive and ready to help with make up and ready to act; daisy was slightly late but she turn up fully dressed and make up on ready which jsut needed a small amoubt of 'tweeking'. Trin was slightly late (as expected), but got straight down to getting changed and having her hair (By me)and make up done (By hannah). There three girls impressed me by their commitment to the filming, and also their acting skills were pretty impressive. A further suprise was Trins ability to Lip sync, she had a great sense of timing. The overall images for the girls looked fantastic just what we were looking for. We also instructed the girls before filming how we wanted them to act and the characters that we wanted to portray e.g. daisy (Fleur) being girly, Hannah (Perry)being boistrous and have an attitude problem and finally trin (Trinity) being out of control. They took direction well and acted the way that we wanted. This element is what made the footage so effective.
The time keeping on the day went completly to plan, this was due to the fact that we had planned each shot carefully, and emily had also completed a time schedule which gave the day a sort of stuctured element. A further reason why we filmed so quickly is because the three girls were really easily directed, and they took it very seriously.
We thought that we would be disappointed with the end footage because the camera was not High Definition however the footage came out pretty good and all shots were clear: even the extreame close ups.
As a group we were very naive and it didnt even cross our minds about setting up the drums, luckily Trins boyfriend came along and was able to set them up. Trin's boyfriend can also play the drums so he offered to give hannah a 5 minute crash course in playing them, whcih actually reflected in the video. I also gave daisy a breif lesson on how to play the guritar however she didnt really pick up on what I was teaching her.
I took a variety of pictures of the day, including images of us filming , us packing away, and shots of the girls acting. I will upload the images to blog soon.

Our Day Of Filming.-Jack
As i sat down after the day i couldn't believe how well we had actually done! Even though we had an early start the girls all more or less arrived on time, daisy being a little late becuase she hadnt felt well, this was fine as she told us she would arrive ready. Hannah did Trin's makeup whilst myself vic emily and ben (trins bf) set up the drums and so on. All i can say is thank god Ben was there to set them up because we didnt have a clue! The weather was so good not to cold with the right amount of due in the air perfect for our mise en scene. When we started filming everything just went so well , the girls were having a laugh and putting so much energy in. As the hours went on we all began getting hungry and a little bit agitated so when Emily Smiles and Jo turned up with a mcdonalds breakfast the group morale increased and the day went down an storm. For me the location was brilliant the communication between our group was amazing but the cast and the girl made it so easy. They all looked so comfortable and energetic they were a breeze to film. So thankyou so much girls and Ben you made it so east for us!!!!!!!!!
Draft for friday! -Jack

The day of filming- Emily.
Filming date: 31st october 2010
Time: 8.30 till 2.30
Who: Emily, Vic, Jack, Trinity, Perry, Fleur And Trey.
We met in the car park at 8.30 and moved to our location and set up for about 9.00. We then dressed/Make-up all three girls for a prompt 9.30 start. Hannah AKA Perry helped with the make-up in order to achive the desired effect. The wether for the day was just what we wanted. It wasn't sunny but not raining and not to cold for the band which was perfect. "We started very well but i had to leave at 11 for a singing exam, as I knew I would be away for a bit I made sure that everything was set up correctly and that all the props were ready to use. This was very good for the group and meant that the filming could go without any problems. I found it very hard getting back into the swing of filming as Jack and Vic already had an understanding of what was looking good taking into consideration the use of lighting mise en scene ect which had changed because of the weather. I soon caught up with the group because we had a shot schedule so I was able to work out where we were up to. I then took my turn filming which I felt went very well. We finished our last shot at about 2.00, concluding with our 'Thats a rap' Shot. It took us about half a hour to pack all instruments away and clear up the space we used. Throughout the day we took pictures of important features which made our day sucsessful; these will be uploaded in a later post.
